When InstaGuide is the better fit
Meeting Mode inverts the video-vs-doc trade-off. Guidde produces a video from your workflow; InstaGuide's Meeting Mode CONSUMES a saved video (Zoom / Teams / Meet / Loom) and turns it into a structured, editable, searchable guide. So if you're recording meetings anyway, you don't have to click through your workflow twice — the recording IS the input.
Pick the right output format. Videos are great for marketing demos; structured step-by-step is what actually gets used as documentation. Searchable, editable, exportable to PDF, never out of date because of a stale narration.
Visual Process Flow shows the whole workflow in one frame. InstaGuide builds a flowchart from your captured steps — domain-grouped columns, color-coded by event type, app-change indicators — so process owners can validate the shape of a workflow before it ships. Video-first tools don't produce this artifact.
Insta cleans up every capture before you publish. Adjacent duplicate clicks merge automatically, generic descriptions get rewritten with workflow context, and voice gets normalized — high-confidence fixes apply silently, judgment calls go to a review panel. With Guidde's video output, cleanup means re-recording the screen or editing the voiceover script.
Edit a single step without re-recording. If your form changed and step 7 needs an update, InstaGuide lets you re-capture just that step. Guidde requires re-shooting the video.
Search inside guides. InstaGuide indexes the AI-generated step text — employees finding the right SOP is one search away. Video-first tools require viewers to scrub through to find a moment.
Embed in your wiki via the iframe snippet. InstaGuide's iframe embed (Notion, Confluence, SharePoint, Zendesk) ships on the Enterprise plan alongside SSO, BYO storage, and custom branding — the same tier where Guidde requires their Broadcast contract.
