Insta writes every guide. Then reviews it. Then answers questions about it.
Three things our AI assistant does on every guide that other tools leave to you.
Writes
Captures every click — across browser and desktop apps — and writes the step description, action label, and guide summary from the screenshot. No manual narration, no template-filling.
Reviews
Re-reads the guide after capture. Merges duplicate clicks, rewrites boilerplate descriptions, normalizes voice, proposes section breaks at app transitions. High-confidence fixes apply silently; judgment calls land in a review panel.
Answers
Lives on the right edge of the dashboard as a chat panel. Ask “how do I process a refund?” in plain English; Insta searches across your library and answers with cited guides you can click to open.
When InstaGuide is the better fit
Meeting Mode is category-defining and unique to InstaGuide. Upload a Zoom / Teams / Google Meet / Loom recording — InstaGuide reverse-engineers the workflow into a structured, editable step-by-step guide. Or record live from the extension while you present. Scribe waits for you to click through your workflow again; InstaGuide accepts the meeting you already had as input.
Visual Process Flow is the differentiator most teams miss when comparing tools. InstaGuide auto-generates a flowchart of your captured workflow — domain-grouped, color-coded by event type, with app-change indicators — so process owners can see the shape of a workflow at a glance instead of scrolling through 30 screenshots.
Insta cleans up the capture before you see it. Adjacent duplicate clicks merge automatically. Boilerplate "Click on the element" descriptions get rewritten with real workflow context. Casing and punctuation get fixed in place. Subjective changes — section breaks, voice normalization, context-aware rewrites — surface in a review panel where you accept or reject each card before publishing. Scribe captures the workflow; the post-capture cleanup is manual.
InstaGuide captures across both web and desktop apps. Most real workflows span tools — Salesforce, then Outlook, then Excel — and a browser-only capture leaves the desktop steps undocumented.
Choose your AI provider per organization. InstaGuide supports Claude, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Snowflake Cortex side-by-side — useful when your security team has approved certain providers, or when you want descriptions generated by a model you've already procured.
Builder + Viewer licensing keeps team costs sane. Most orgs have a handful of people who CREATE guides and dozens who CONSUME them. InstaGuide prices those separately on Enterprise — viewer seats cost a fraction of builder seats — so onboarding 100 viewers isn't 100× the bill.
