Yes - the Free plan includes 10 guides forever. Insta — our in-app assistant — writes the step titles, descriptions, and the guide summary for you, then runs an auto-correction & review pass to polish everything (rewrites placeholder titles, flags merge candidates, normalizes voice). All of that is on Free. No credit card required. PDF and HTML export unlock on Starter ($13/mo) and above.

Every time you finish recording, Insta runs a consolidated pass over your guide: rewrites placeholder step titles into descriptive labels ("Click PivotTable Analyze tab" instead of "Click"), polishes generic step descriptions, detects when your workflow crosses between apps, and surfaces a review panel with one-click accept/reject for further cleanup. It's included on every plan including Free.

Starter (25 guides) is for individuals on a budget and adds PDF + HTML export and process flow diagrams. Pro (50 guides) is for power users — adds voice narration during recording, Ask Insta Assistant (our in-app assistant that answers questions about your guide library), and change tracking. Pro signups include a 15-day free trial. Note: Free, Starter, and Pro are all single-user plans — there's no team collaboration or guide sharing on these tiers. For teams, see Business. No — Pro is a single-user plan. Guide sharing, team libraries, role-based access, and project collaboration require the Business plan (or Enterprise). If you start on Pro and your team grows, you can create a new organization account on Business — every new org gets a 30-day free trial.

Every new personal account starts with a 15-day Pro trial — full Pro features, no credit card needed. Every new organization account starts with a 30-day Business trial. If you don't upgrade by the end of the trial your account moves to Free; nothing is charged.

Business is $39/user/month with a minimum of 5 users. Each user gets a 50-guide allowance that's pooled org-wide — a 5-user team has up to 250 total guides, a 10-user team up to 500, and so on. Includes everything in Pro plus guide sharing & teams and priority support. Business is for growing teams that need collaboration but don't need custom branding, SSO, or BYO cloud storage yet. Enterprise uses a Builder + Viewer license model — Builders are people who create guides, Viewers only consume them. Minimum 10 users. Pricing is custom based on your contract; reach out to sales for a quote. Enterprise adds custom branding (logo + primary color on embedded guides), SSO/SAML, BYO cloud storage (S3 / Azure Blob / GCS), a BYO AI provider option, and the public iframe embed feature on top of everything in Business. Guide creation is effectively unlimited, subject to a fair-use monthly cap that scales with your Builder license count (default 50 guides / Builder / month, resets on the 1st of each UTC month; contact your account manager if your workload needs more). Enterprise BYO — where you provide your own AI keys — has no monthly cap since you absorb the AI cost directly.

Yes — each plan caps the number of steps per guide. Free is 15 steps, Starter 25, Pro 50, Business 75, Enterprise is unlimited. You'll see the cap on the Stripe checkout page before you confirm payment.

Yes - upgrade or downgrade anytime from your account. Changes prorate automatically. Business and Enterprise plans are managed by your account team.

Yes - annual billing saves about 10% compared to monthly. Choose annual at checkout for any paid plan.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The extension only captures during active recording sessions. Enterprise plans support BYO AI provider so sensitive content never leaves your chosen vendor.
