Use Workflow Builder to auto-post a welcome message when someone joins a channel.

Click the workspace name in the top-left, then 'Tools & settings' → 'Workflow Builder'

Click '+ New Workflow' in the top-right

Click 'Build Workflow'

Give the workflow a name (e.g., 'Welcome new members')

Choose the trigger: 'When a person joins a channel'

Select the channel where the workflow should run

Click 'Add Step' and choose 'Send a message'

Choose where to post the message and write the welcome content
Include pinned-message reference, channel norms, and who to @ with questions.
